Admission Process

Applying to Our Lady of Lourdes
An informational Open House for families interested in Our Lady of Lourdes School will be held Tuesday, February 1st, 2011 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. You and your child will have the opportunity to visit the classrooms and talk with the teachers. If you are unable to attend the Open House you are welcome and encouraged to schedule a personal school tour at any time. Application packets will be available at Open house of upon request thereafter. Completed application forms for 2011-2012 are due in the school office by February 18, 2011. Applications received after the 18th will only as room allows. The Principal schedules 30 minute interviews with parents and students in Grades 1-8 who are being considered for admission. Parents will be notified by mail of student's enrollment status in early March.

Applications are date sensitive!
You may apply as early as February 1, 2011 at the Open House. A 2011-2012 application will be available on this website in January. Applications may be delivered in person,mailed, or faxed to Our Lady of Lourdes School. Our mailing address is 4701 N.W. Franklin Street, Vancouver, WA 98663. Our fax number (360)696-6700. OLL Admission Policy
Our Lady of Lourdes educates students in the Catholic tradition, integrating the Church's beliefs and practices with academic discipline. It is open to students of all religious faiths.

Selection Process
All applicants must submit required application materials. Families must participate in a personal interview with the principal. An applicant's admission to Our Lady of Lourdes School is evaluated based upon: relationship to Our Lady of Lourdes Parish or other Catholic parishes; academic achievement; social development; family's involvement in faith formation; reasons for seeking enrollment; expectations of the school; and potential contribution to a diverse student body

The order of priority for selection of qualified students is:
1. Currently enrolled students and siblings of currently enrolled students
2. Children of Our Lady of Lourdes, St. John's, Sacred Heart, St. James, Holy Redeemer, St. Thomas, or St. Phillips registered and contributing parishioners, verified by the Pastor
4. Children of other Catholic families
6. All other.
